Edit 2: Yaaay, I got in~! /o/ So I updated his app art, since I wanted to before the opening, but ended up not getting around to it until now. XD The app looks soooo much prettier now too. I also decided either a.) he needs reading glasses or b.) he wears them to looks smart. Probably both. Idk.

dkfjklajdsf I know I KNOW. I shouldn't be joining another group. But golly, this one. I just. Legendaries. So I had to go with Ho-Oh. And the whole idea. I just love it.

But yeah, Ho-Oh. You're probably wondering why Ho-Oh since I'm sure most of you are aware of my fear of birds. I just. I don't know why Ho-Oh has always been my favorite Legendary o/

Nature: Jolly; Even though he feels lonely from time to time, he always tries to keep and happy face and cheer others up first over himself. He's very caring and cheery fellow most of the time.

Species: Ho-Oh



Habitat: The Skies: Dimitri doesn't necessarily have a designated habitat. He'd much rather be soaring the skies, rarely landing. The clouds, the stars, all of it he calls home. He was most commonly found flying over the Kanto and Johto regions however, though occasionally goes to the other regions. Naturally the only place he considers landing are tall, empty towers, specifically the Burned Tower in Ecruteak City.

History:

It is said that wherever a Ho-Oh flies, they leave a rainbow behind them. Well that's Dimitri's first memory of his life. A beautiful rainbow. And the sky. He always saw the sky as his birthplace. His home. The clouds, the stars, the sun, the moon, all of it was his. He shared it with no one else.

Of course, he soon became aware that this was not entirely true. The world below had plenty of life on it as well. There were those who were stuck on the ground, and those who could also fly. Except, they didn't fly as high up as he did. So even still, he watched them from above. It... intrigued him. All these other lifeforms. So different. He watched them from high above as the changed. He watched as children grew into adults. As towns grew into cities. It all interested him. The way life went on.

It wasn't just the way life changed he liked to watch. He saw as couples in love went on to be together, have families, grow old together. And... it made him sad. Lonely even. He was alone up where he was. Though, he was aware there were ones on the ground that also felt lonely. Perhaps he would take it upon himself to make them feel less lonely. So whenever he saw someone below that seemed alone or sad, he would fly over and leave for them a beautiful rainbow. And it always seemed to bring them happiness. At least he could do something for the life forms below.

For years he did this. And as the years went on he got more and more curious about the life below. He studied as they changed, as the world changed. He was very interested in it all. Of course, as their cities got bigger and bigger, their structures taller and taller, he would have to fly higher and higher. He wasn't able to study them they way he used to, and it saddened him. What was worse was... the atmosphere he lived in. The ones below had built cities, had vehicles, chopped down tress, all of this. And it made it hard for him to live. The pollution, it choked him. Soon he could hardly fly anywhere there was a large population due to the high amounts of toxins that were up in the skies.

He hid away in an old tower he stayed in from time to time. In a small town known as Ecruteak. Here it seemed people weren't as bad as else where. He watched them from top of his tower. At least he still got to watch some of them. Though, the skies seemed to grow sad when he was no longer around. It rained more often, as if the sky was crying. And he couldn't do anything. He was much more lonely before. Since before he at least felt like he had friends. The sun, moon, stars, all of it he still considered his family. But now... he could no longer live with them.

While moping around in his lonely tower, another spirit came to him. A Suicune who seemed to understand him. As her own rivers and lakes had been run over with pollution as well. Even though she could clean them, they would just ruin them again and again, no matter how many times she did so. She told him of a place. A place where spirits could go. A place free from all of the pollutions created by the mortals. As much as he didn't want to leave his tower, and he still did love the earth dwellers, he knew he could not stay here for ever. Perhaps he could watch them from this new place. And so he took off from his tower to find this new place for him to call home.

Summary characteristic: Scatters things often; He can be a bit scatterbrained, and is a bit disorganized.

Hobbies:

He enjoys admiring art. As well as creating it himself. While he's not the most artistic, he tries.

He really loves learning and studying others. People watching and what have you.

Reading is something he also enjoys.

He's not really aware that his appearance is all that 'girly.' So if you refer to him as a girl or otherwise comment on his appearance, he won't have any idea why you would do such a thing.

As stated above, he loves watching others. He really enjoyed watching couples in love. And can be a bit of a romanticist from time to time.

He's socially awkward. He may stutter or get flustered if brought into a very social situation. Though if it's a one on one situation, he's not too bad. The more mon there are, the more awkward it is for him.

He's clumsy. And disorganized. Even though he tries to keep things organized, he fails pretty terribly at it.
